Job Summary:
Our client who is dedicated to providing transformative, tuition-free music education, access to live performances, and leadership development for youth in under-resourced communities is seeking a Director of Marketing to join their team. The Director of Marketing, a senior management role, will spearhead their marketing efforts to elevate their mission and drive engagement. Reporting to the Executive Director, this role requires a strong commitment to promoting their programs and expanding their reach.

Core Responsibilities:

Strategic Marketing Planning:
- Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies to enhance brand awareness and engagement.
- Collaborate with the Executive Director and other departments to align marketing initiatives with organizational goals.

Content Creation and Management:
- Oversee the creation and distribution of compelling content across various channels, including social media, website, email, and print materials.
- Ensure all marketing materials adhere to brand guidelines and effectively communicate our mission and impact.

Digital Marketing and Analytics:
- Lead digital marketing campaigns, including SEO, SEM, email marketing, and social media advertising.
- Monitor and analyze marketing performance metrics to optimize strategies and drive results.

Partnership and Community Engagement:
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with partners, sponsors, and community stakeholders to amplify our marketing reach and impact.

Collaborate with schools, community organizations, and local influencers to promote our programs and events.

Event Marketing and Promotion:
- Develop and execute marketing plans for events, including concerts, workshops, school and community events, and fundraisers.
- Coordinate promotional efforts with event organizers and stakeholders to maximize attendance and engagement.

Budget Management:
- Develop and manage the marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and maximum ROI.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree with five plus years of experience in marketing, preferably in the nonprofit or arts sector.
- Proven track record of developing and implementing successful marketing campaigns.
- Strong leadership and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms, including social media management, email marketing, and web analytics.
- Creative thinker with a passion for storytelling and driving social change through marketing.
